Ursula Walentynowicz, writer and director, cut her teeth in production design and has produced a number of fashion brand campaigns. Her work attracted the attention of Tim Burton and gained her a public relations stint at Walt Disney Productions for it’s FRANKENWEENIE film launch.

From then on, she pursued acting in London and in New York as one of the students of the renowned teacher Tony Greco (the late Philip Seymour-Hoffman’s coach). During her time in the studio, she discovered great works of drama that later shaped her singular voice and vision. Walentynowicz appeared in television, commercials, dance videos, short films, theatre plays and acting continues to be an integral part of her screenwriting process. In addition, Ursula is a certified script consultant. Her original screenplay STA!KER pitched to a live festival audience won Raindance in 2018.

In 2022, Ursula wrote and directed her first film MANHOLE, a live action short that was selected at WorldFest-- the oldest Independent Film Festival that gave first awards to R.Scott, G.Lucas, Cohen Bros & D.Lynch-- and won in suspense thriller category earning her a REMI award, as well as making the official selection in festivals around the globe. She’s currently in development with her debut feature CASTRATO DE LUXE, a courtroom opera film.
